60Si2Mn Spring steel Mechanical Properties:

Tensile strength of sigma b (MPa) : 1274 (130) or higher.Yield strength sigma s (MPa) : 1176 (120) or higher.Elongation delta (%) : 5 or more.Reduction of area bits (%) : 25 or higher.Hardness: hot rolled, 321 hb or less; Cold drawn + heat treatment, 321 hb or less.

  • 60Si2Mn Spring steel Introduction:

    60Si2Mn density of 7.85g / cm3.60Si2Mn is widely used Si-Mn spring steel, strength, elasticity and hardenability slightly higher than the 55Si2Mn. Suitable for railway vehicles, bear a greater load flat spring or 30mm in diameter below the coil spring on the automobile and tractor industries.

  • 60Si2Mn Spring steel Heat Treatment:

    60Si2Mn with isothermal tempering heat treatment method and step quenching, and the temperature quenching and high temperature tempering, round steel pictures thermomechanical treatment process method. Using this method can effectively improve the 60 si2mn spring steel of strong toughness and working life.

    ANNEALING

    Spheroidizing annealing: the 850 - degree heat, oil cooling quenching, short time isothermal spheroidizing process (25 min 790 - degree heat, quenching heat 1 h to 680 degrees, furnace cooling to 500 degrees out), can obtain ideal spheroidizing organization

    HARDENING

    After different temperature tempering hardness value is HRC: 150 C - 61200 - C - 60300 - C - 56400 - C - 51500 - C - 43550 - C - 38600 - C - 33650 - C - 29.Common tempering temperature 430 ~ 480 c, water or air, HRC45 ~ 50.

    TEMPERING

    60Si2Mn steel quenching temperature 850 ~ 870 degrees, normal oil cooling. Tempering temperature depends on the mould parts hardness requirements, such as 46 HRC 400 degrees, tempering hardness;500 degrees, tempering hardness 40 HRC;600 degrees, tempering hardness HRC.Between 150 ~ 160 degrees tempering performance is the best fit, attention must avoid the temper brittleness area of about 300 degree. Demands is a high toughness mould, dimension stability good measuring tool, tempering temperature can increase to 250 degrees, 55 ~ 60 HRC hardness, better toughness.

    60Si2Mn spring steel is widely used silicon manganese spring steel, strength, elasticity and hardenability is 55 si2mn slightly higher. 60 si2mn spring steel suitable for railway vehicle, car, tractor industry sector of spring production under high load or wire diameter under 30 mm coil spring, also suitable for making working temperature below 250 ℃ hot spring in the corrosive medium and under alternating load and working under high stress of large important coiling spring and damping system, etc.
